Through our current project, Waste Swift has created employment opportunities for 210 waste collectors, organized into 7 groups. By empowering local communities and promoting entrepreneurship in waste management, we contribute to job creation, skill development, and economic resilience in Kenya's waste sector.

Waste Swift's vision extends beyond its current initiatives. We plan to expand our impact by partnering with more buyback centers across different waste streams and counties, thereby creating additional employment opportunities and scaling our operations to other regions.

With the support of investors, we aim to unlock new avenues for sustainable development and environmental stewardship through organising 2000 waste collectors into 40 groups across 15 counties.

Waste Swift has developed a digital application called Waste Swift Digital App, which enables households, producers, waste collectors, aggregators, and recyclers to access waste collection schedules and submit requests for waste collection. The app,a first of its kind in Kenya and The East African region,notifies waste collectors, aggregators, and recyclers to facilitate their acceptance of requests related to the types of waste streams they handle,thereby ensuring bulk collection of recyclables swiftly and conveniently.

In so doing,the app enables data collection on the waste released to the environment that can be used by organizations,manufacturers and government agencies in their sustainability reports,while also creating Green jobs opportunities.
